The result of the merger of three clubs DOS ( founded in 1901 and League
Champions in 1958), Velox (founded in 1902) and Elinkwijk (founded in 1919). They play in red and white and their
homeground the Nieuw Galgenwaard Stadium has room for 18,000 fans. FC Utrecht won the Dutch FA Cup in 1985.
