Feyenoord
got off to a somewhat hesitant start to the second half of the
competition but nonetheless they were to good for Twente
this afternoon. After Kalou ticked home a Van Hooijdonk assist in the
10th minute of the game Twente were able to draw level 5 minutes before
the break after Cavens rounded off a van der Paar cross. Feyenoord
increased the lead to 2-1 with Kalou completing his brace in the 66th
and Buffel put the homeside 3-1 ahead rounding off Van Hooijdonk's
second assist of the afternoon. In the 72nd minute of the game Twente
were able to reduce the gap to one goal after Cziommer nodded in from
close range. 2 minutes before the final whistle Feyenoord's in form
talent Robin van Persie put the 4-2 score-line on the board.
Ajax
have started the second half to the season with a 0-6 away monster-score
against Willem II
who were indeed no match for this tintalating Ajax. Van der Meyde (shot)
Ibrahimovic (shot) and a Chivu spot-shot put the 0-3 score-line on the
board. Galasek (shot) Ibrahimopvic with a fantastic solo and rebel
'Mido' with a brilliant lob stuck the 0-6 on the board, giving Willem II
something to think about fir the next few day.
RKC
climb to fourth place after thier 1-0 home win over Groningen.

Only
two games went through last night as Holland was hit by frozen
conditions. NAC were held
to their ninth draw of the season by Heerenveen
. Mika Nurmelad for Heerenveen in the 23rd minute, but Csaba Feher
levelled just before half time.
AZ Alkmaar's match
against NEC only just got
the go-ahead at the last minute unfortunately for the spectators who
were treated to a dull goalless draw. |
