| NEC's home ground is "De
Goffert Stadion" in Nijmegen which seats 13,500. It's a hi-tech but
ecologically-friendly accomodation which is situated in
a wooded area on the outskirts of the city. All seats benefit from 'above-head'
heating - the energy being supplied by 30 solar
panels. The rain water used to flush the toilets and to water the pitch is
supplied by four large tanks situated in the four corners of the stadium. It's
a welcoming and, dare I say it, a cosy (or, for the benefit of our Dutch
visitors, "gezellig") and spacious stadium.

From Amsterdam follow the signs for Utrecht.
From Utrecht follow the signs for A12, A50 and
‘Nijmegen’.
Once in Nijmegen continue to follow the Neerboscheweg.
Turn left after (not at) the second traffic lights and follow the signs ‘Goffert’.
Bus:
From the city center take bus-line 3 to the 'Brabantse Poort', then take line 8 to 'Hatert'
and then bus-line 4 to
'Grootstal' .
