| Born in 1970 and twin brother to Ronald he is another
product of the Ajax youth system having been spotted at
Zouaven football club in Hoorn. At Ajax he developed
into an excellent defender reknowned for his clean
passing and faultless ball handling. While at Ajax he
helped them to win both the European Cup1 and the World
Championships in 1995 and also the Super Cup in 1996. |

He
had to miss the European Championships in England in
1996 due to an ankle injury. He was one of the best
defenders during the World Championships held in France
in 1998 (where Holland finished fourth). In 1999 he was
transferred together with his brother to Barcelona.
Joined Turkish ouitfit Galatasary in 2004 but left shortly afterwards to
join twin Ronald at Glasgow.

| Twin brother of Frank de Boer
(born 1970) Ronald was
spotted at Zouaven football club, based in Hoorn, by
Amsterdam Ajax who signed him up, as well as his brother,
for their youth scheme. After several seasons playing
for Ajax he moved to FC Twente where, together with
Youri Mulder, he formed a notorious attacking duo. In
February 1993 he returned to Ajax where he played behind
the forward line. |

Together with his brother Frank he left
for Barcelona in January 1999. Currently playing for
Glasgow Rangers. He helped Ajax win the
Champions League (European Cup 1) and the World
Championships in 1995 and the Super Cup in 1996. In 1996
he was voted best player in the Dutch league by his
footballing colleagues.

Schellingwoude and transferred to Ajax where he made his
debut for the first team on September 8 1991. In 1996 he
signed a contract for four years with AC Milan but moved
to Juventus in 1997. Davids is a technically gifted
player with incredible willpower and desire to win. |

the European Championship in 1996 he lost his place in the team but has
since regained it on the basis of his excellent play for Juventus, where
he helped them to win the Italian league in 1998. During the World
Championships held in France in 1998 he was regarded as
one of the best midfielders. currently resserve captain of
the Dutch National Team.

RBC, NAC, Celtic and Nottingham Forest. In 1999 he was
transferred to Vitesse where he played for one season. Shortly after the European Championships he moved to

Holland in the summer of 2001 and currently plays
for Feyenoord. A sharp shooting forward, good with his

Born 1976. He came up through the Ajax youth scheme
and scored his first professional goal during his debut
for Ajax against Rwanda in a benefit match in 1994. The
following year he scored the only goal in Ajax's victory
over AC Milan in the European Cup 1 final.

moved to Barcelona where Louis van Gaal had become trainer the previous
year. He is a strong, physical player with a 'nose for a
goal'. During the
2000 European Championships he ended joint top scorer.

Bosch, SC Heerenveen and PSV. Well known for his goal scoring
abilities and flexibility in terms of playing position.

In the season 1998/99 he was top scorer in the Dutch
league. Manchester United were very keen to sign van
Nistelrooy but due to an injury the deal fell through.
United bought
van Nistelrooy once he was finally recovered at the end of the 2000/2001
season. Scored a hatrick against Scotland to help the
Dutch qualify for Euro 2004.

succeeding Feyenoord's Ed de Goey.
