Top Oss striker Dijkhuizen 6 weeks sidelined |

Eerstedivisie outfit Top Oss have been dealt a blow after
hearing that their top scorer Marinus Dijkhuizen has been
sidelined for up to six weeks with a serious knee
injury. Dijkhuizen, injured himself during Wednesday's
training session and will now have to undergoe surgery. In the Dutch provincial
newspaper 'Brabants Dagblad' Top Oss manager Harry van der Ham explained:
"It has put a cloud over all my plans for the team. And of course it's
even more terrible for Marinus himself." The club's board
member Bert Zwanenburg has stated that the club will
first await Friday's match against Cambuur before deciding whether or not to
look for a replacement. Zwanenburg: "We will only do that if the
situation is really really bad. And besides that I first want to see against
Cambuur how the manager and the team will handle the loss."
