Seedorf demands explanation from Advocaat |

Dutch international midfielder Clarence Seedorf,
who was
recently blasted by the Dutch football magazine 'Voetbal International' , has
demanded an explanation from Holland coach Dick Advocaat as to
why he was
dropped for Holland's two crucial Euro 2004 qualifiers against Austria and The
Czech republic. In an interview in the Dutch daily newspaper 'De Telegraaf'
Seedorf explained "We had an
agreement that during the qualifications I would compete for the right-midfield
position and after the qualifications I would compete for the central-midfield
position. Now that everything has turned out differently I think it
is time for us to have a talk and I also have rights to an
explanation. "
Holland coach Advocaat "I did tell him that he should concentrate on the
right-midfield position but I would never promise a beforehand that he can
