Rijkaard to view video evidence of Cocu |

Frank Rijkaard is planning to view video evidence
this week to see if the club has grounds to appeal
against Phillip Cocu's dismissal in Barcelona 0-0
draw at Atletico Madrid during the weekend. The Dutch
international all-rounder was sent off early in the second half for what seemed
an innocent attempt to gain ball possession. Rijkaard was unable to see exactly
what went on but has his doubts as to whether the card was rightly issued.
Rijkaaard: "With Cocu, I didn't see the incident that led to his
dismissal because it was very difficult to see from my position.
I'll have to watch it on the television. |
