19-year-ols PSV starlet
Leandro do Bomfim has finally
decided that he will undergo a groin operation this
Thrusday. PSV's young
Brazilian star has been sidelined with a groin
injury that he picked up on October 19th
2002 in the Ere Divisie clash against Roda.
Last season he refused
to have surgery, hoping that
rest would cure his ailment.
However, coach Guus Hiddink is not prepared to wait for ever and has
convinced him Leandro that
an operation is necessary. In the Dutch daily
newspaper 'De Telegraaf' Hiddink said : "I
have spoken to him and told him: 'It's your body, but also your future." |
