PSV chairman Harry van Raaij, who is planning to
vacate his chairman's role at the end of this term, wants
their trainer Guus Hiddink to be his replacement.
Although the appointment has not been confirmed by PSV's board it is generally
believed that the club will be positive and have no problems in agreeing to
the decision. Both Hiddink and Van Raaij have held talks with the club's
chairman Jan Timmer and it has been reported that the discussions were
fruitful. As of July the 1st next year, Hiddink will
be combining the duties as PSV boss
and chairman but will probably leave the on field coaching
to his assistant Erwin Koeman, brother of Ajax
trainer Ronald Koeman. |
