Eerstedivisie newcomers AGOVV
will have to do without new signing Klaas Jan Huntelaar
for the time being after
hospital test revealed a badly bruised ankle. Huntelaar, who has already
netted 4 goals in four games, was forced to leave the pitch last Monday
evening in AGOVV's 0-0 draw agasint Stormvogels-Telstarafter being
severly tackled from behind by Benoît Croissant
and it was first feared that he had broken his ankle. However,
orthopedic surgeon Hugo Bolhuis from the Amsterdam Lucas Hospital,
revealed that the damage was less serious than first expected.
