Fiorentina target PSV striker Huntelaar

Eerstedivisie joint top scorer Klaas Jan Huntelaar, who is currently on loan at AGOVV from PSV, says that the prospect of joining Italian Serie A outfit Fiorentina excites him.
Fiorentina scouts were present to watch the prolific striker during Friday's Gouden Gids match between AGOVV Apeldoorn and Den Bosch.
Huntelaar:
"That is nice of course. Fiorentina are a good club with an awesome history. They play on a lower level now but it's nevertheless the club where Gabriel Batistuta has played. It stays attractive. I don't know if I will go there yet, they have to come up with a good contract if they really want me. But Italy is a great football country. A dream."
Regarding his future at PSV Huntelaar added: "If I sign a new contract I must have the feeling that my future lies at PSV. It must not be that they want to sign me for a longer time only to get a bit more money for me. I prefer that they sell me now. If I do not sign now then they won't get a euro for me after next season. I walk away for free."
The player's agent, Arnold Oosterveer, confirmed: "There is much interest for Klaas Jan. All clubs from the Gouden Gids Divisie want him. But first he still has a year at PSV. We will talk with them first about his future."
