reported to be talking with Nistelrooy

Spanish sports journal Marca, who
recently reported that Barcelona were interested in Ruud van Nistelrooy
have now reported that Barcelona President Joan Laporta has met with Dutch
international striker's agent, Roger Lindse, to discuss a possible
transfer from Manchester United to Barcelona.
The newspaper also reports that they have contacted Barcelona officials
and that they have refused to deny that the club is interested in signing Van
Nistelrooy this summer.
Van Nistelrooy still has four years left on his current contract and agent
Roger Lindse says that his client would play for nothing less than 5 million
euros a season.
