Dutch international midfielder The
Juventus midfielder is currently on loan at Nou Camp until the end of the
season, after which he will become a free agent and a target for European top
clubs.
Although it was generally believed that when the loan spell at the Nou Camp
ends in June Davids would ink a new deal, now that he is demanding 3 million
euros-a-season to sign with Barca, which is a half million euros higher
Ronaldinho is currently earning, it remains to be seen if a new extension will
be inked: Davids: "My
priority to sign with Barcelona," he said yesterday. But I must say I
have received interest from many clubs."
