Liberian international striker
Collins John, who has already netted eight goals in 16 league
appearances this season for Eredivisie high-flyers FC Twente, has
attracted the attention of Paul Bosvelt's Manchester City.
According to reports published on Manchester City's own website, the
club have already spoken to John's agent about a possible move for
the 19-year-old during the January transfer period.
Manchester City are also keeping tabs on
Twente's Blaise N'Kufo who has formed a fine duo with Collins
John this term.
According to reports, City scouts watched both players in action on
three occasions just before before Christmas in Twente's league
matches against Feyenoord and Ajax as well as an Amstel Cup tie
against Ajax's reserve team.
N'Kufo and John did not disappoint as they grabbed six goals between
them in the three matches.
