Ajax scouts can cancel the planned trip to
the middle east to watch Al-Wasl striker Farhad Majidi in action after the
25-year-old goal-getter signed a new one year deal with his club.
Ajax, in need of a replacement for 'Mido', were hoping to watch the
striker in action this weekend knowing that his contract expires this summer but
the Iraninan international said he
preferred to stay and play in the in the United Arab Emirates, as opposed to
risking being sidelined at a top European side.
