Utrecht's debts continue to rise

Ere Divisie club Utrecht are facing a far huger deficit than first thought are now confronted with a three million euros negative balance for this coming season and are further eleven million euros short of being able to finnish off the renovations to their stadium. The club's bank the Rabobank and their main sponsor, AMEV insurance, have stated that they are prepared to help the Utrecht if the club's creditors are prepared to postpone their demands until 1 May. The club has also asked the local council if they are prepared to buy Utrecht's Stadium 'De Galgenwaard' in order to help the club alleviate their debts.
