| Barcelona
buy players but not Hasselbaink |

Although Barcelona have stated they have faith in the
current squad and that they have no intentions of buying anymore players,
Barcelona's scouts have been spotted monitoring NAC's Hungarian goalkeeper
Gabor Babos. Babos
has already stated that he intends leaving NAC at the end of the season .
Barcelona are also in the market for Argentine wing back Juan Pablo Sorin.
Lazio still haven't paid Sorin's last club Cruzeiro for the transfer fee and
a cut-price move to Barcelona is being mentioned making a link-up with
fellow with compatriots Juan Roman Riquelme and Javier Saviola possible.
With Hasselbaink on the top of Van Gaal's wanted list it raises the question
as to who is pulling the reigns at the club and whether or not Louis van
Gaal has anymore say in the matter. It
has also been reported that Barcelona's board will be meeting on Monday to
discuss the future of trainer Louis van Gaal. The Spanish media suggests
that the only drawback to dismissing Van Gaal is the £4 million
compensation.
