Ronald de Boer has put Glasgow Rangers into a Scottish League Cup final after heading in fellow Dutchman Fernando Ricksens's back-header.  Ranger will now either Celtic or Dundee United in the final.  Alex McLeish views on the match were: "In the first half we really dominated but we were still only a goal up. I said that at half-time and I knew that Hearts had to show some kind of reaction in the second half. They had a wee bit more pressure but we couldn't put them away and the resilience of the defence was good when you consider the presence of the Hearts team. At 1-0 it is never done. I suppose you can get a wee bit agitated but I tried to get the message on at them to keep their composure as Hearts had started to pass the ball a bit. They unnerved us a wee bit so it was important we kept our composure. We probably didn't start the second half the way we did the first but I knew that Hearts had to show something else in the second half as they couldn't start the second half as slowly as they did the first."
