The winner of this season's "Young Talent of the Year"
award, in the poll organised every year in Holland by daily
newspaper "De Telegraaf" and "Voetbal International"
magazine, is Ajax's Rafael van der Vaart, who picked up so
many points in the poll before the winter stop that he's come out top even
though he's missed the 2nd half of the season! The young Feyenoorder
Robin van Persie and another Ajacied, Ahmed 'Mido' Hossam, came in 2nd and
3rd respectively, picking up their points after the winter break.
