Thijssen resigns at Fortuna |

Thijssen has resigned as trainer at Fortuna Sittard after last night's
defeat by Zwolle in the last of the playoffs. He'd taken over earlier in
the season from Henk Duut but had not developed a rapport with the players
(who remained unmotivated by the replacement trainer) while he, himself,
had doubts about the club's future. |
