offer Mauricio Aros contract |

have offered the Chilean defender Mauricio Aros, who's been on trial with
the Rotterdammers on the Canary Islands, a contract till the end of the
season with an option to sign up for another 4 years in the Kuip. The only
precondition is that the 25 year-old gets a work permit by January
31st which is the closing date for UEFA Cup eligibility. Aros, who was
playing for Universidad de Chile, represented his country during the World
Cup in 1998 and the Copa América in 1999.
