Newcastle trial for Bousatta

Former AZ winger Dries Bousatta is travelling to Newcastle for a trial with Bobby Robson's "Magpies" this weekend. The Amsterdam born Moroccan international started his career with Telstar, moving to play for Ajax, Utrecht and
AZ before asking for his contract with the Alkmaarders to be terminated as of January 1st this year due, among other reasons, to his commitment to the Moroccan national team
. Although he managed to get into the Dutch squad under Frank Rijkaard he was only capped for 3 friendlies and decided to switch his allegiance to Morocco. The 29 year-old hopes to impress Robson sufficiently to be given an offer to join the 1st team squad with the Premiership side.
