are spreading their net for a new trainer just in case the club's board
member (and well-known 'sugar-daddy') Nol Hendriks fails to persuade
current coach George Leekens (who recently handed in his
notice) to stay
with the 'Kerkrade Crew'. According to a story in Dutch daily newspaper
"De Telegraaf", Roda have already offered Wiljan Vloet a deal
for 3 years! The Den Bosch trainer has apparently asked for time to think
about the offer to move to Limburg as he's only in his first season of a
5-year contract in Brabant. Roda also recently approached Den Bosch's team
captain, Fred van der Hoorn, to see if he's interested in a job as
technical director but he's turned down the offer because he's also
in his first year of a 5 year deal.
