| Hofland
in long-term injury worry |
12 Feb 2002
|
| PSV's
Kevin Hofland is worried about his current state of health. The Dutch
international picked up a case of concussion during the team's winter camp
and has been trying to shake it off ever since. He made an appearance
against Fortuna on February 2nd but had to leave the pitch after 35
minutes due to the after-effects of the concussion and remains tired and
listless. He had to halt a training session yesterday for the same reasons
and is now worried that he may have picked up 'glandular fever', which
could keep him out of action for much longer. The defender wants to try
and remove the feeling of uncertainty he's living under by having his
blood analysed to see if there is a viral infection at the root of his
dis/unease!?
