Joost Volmer has signed a two-year contract with AZ to begin next season.
The 28 year-old had made clear earlier this season that he would leave
Sittard, after 3 seasons with the club, if Fortuna were relegated. The
defender has already had an unsuccesful trial with Scottish side Heart of Midlothian
but will now soon be on his way to Alkmaar!
