had the best of the early chances even though Ajax were obviously superior
(well you'd expect that wouldn't you?) Pittas had a free-kick bounce off
the underside of the bar and Papakyriakou had the chance to pounce on a
defensive error by Trabelsi but wasted it. Rafael van der Vaart slid home
ther from a Nikos Machlas through-pass in the 34th. Mido had been
replaced by Zlatan Ibrahimovich in the 30th and the same Zlatan headed in
the 2nd goal in the
66th minute from a Wamberto pass. The Brazilian blasted home the 3rd
himself to give Ajax another 3 points and a place in the next round.
