Van Nistelrooy creates new record

After only 6 months in the Premiership Ruud van Nistelrooy has created record book history by scoring in 8 consecutive  matches after last weekend equalling the existing record shared by Thierry Henry, Mark Stein and Alan Shearer of seven-in-a-row. The Dutch international scored theng goal in Manchester United's 2 - 1 win against Blackburn Rovers with a spot-shot on the stroke of halftime.
