Feyenoord's home ground is De Kuip (The Tub) since its completion in 1937. The impetus for its construction came from the successes of Feyenoord in the 1930s and the popularity of the national team during the "Lotsij Era". The new stadium was 'christened' by a friendly match between Feyenoord and Beerschot at itsng on March 22, 1937. People see a parallel with Ajax moving into their new Arena under Louis van Gaal. During the Euro 2000 championship the following games were played : Portugal - Germany, Spain - Norway, Denmark - Holland, the Holland (the winner of Group D) against Yugoslavia ( runnerup from Group C)  and the icing on the cake was the Final on July 2 2000.

The Feyenoord stadium Seats 51.177.
