Founded in Dordrecht on July the 1st 1972. In 1979 the club changed its name into DS 79 and in 1990 into Dordrecht 90 after a merger between SVV and Dordrecht '90 (DHC). The name FC Dordrecht originates from 2002.
Dordrecht. Play in green and black and their home ground the GN Bouw Stadion that can accomodate 4,100 fans.
Dordrecht  won the Dutch FA Cup in 1914 and 1932 and were Eerstedivisie Champions in 1983, 1994 and 2003.
The club's notorious fans have been known to cause havoc.
