Founded in Den Haag in 1905 and playing professional football since 1954 . Play in
yellow and green and their home
ground the Zuiderpark Stadion which can accomodate 11,000 fans. They were
League Champions in 1942 and 1943 (before the introduction of professional
football) and won the Dutch FA Cup in 1968 (2-1 against Ajax) and
in 1975 (1-0 against Twente). In 1886 Den Haag were the first undefeated
League Champions of Holland when they gained promotion to the Dutch
Eredivisie.
In 1975 Den Haag reached the quarter final of UEFA Cup when they were
eliminated by English Premier League outfit, West Ham United.
