According to reports Barcelona
presidential candidate Josep Martinez-Rovira says that he has spoken with
Dutch international striker Ruud van Nistelrooy about a summer move to the
club and that he expects an answer from Manchester United striker within 48
hours, saying: "We have spoken and he isto the proposal. The
talks are at an advanced stage and in 48 hours we will have an answer. He is
very excited by the idea and the talks were very positive." Martinez-Rovira
revealed that the club sent two representatives to Manchester last week to
hold talks with Van Nistelrooy.
