Marwijk snubs move to Schalke |

Schalke '04, who are in need of a new
trainer, have
turned their eyes toward Louis van Gaal after attempts to lure Feyenoord
boss Bert van Marwijk away from Feyenoord failed.
Schalke invited Van Marwijk to hold talks with the club, who then immediately
informed Feyenoord of the interesse. Feyenoord told their trainer that a move to
Schalke was absolutely out of the question. Feyenoord: "His contract
hasn't been extended for nothing. Van Marwijk is a coach that suits Feyenoord.
If you look at our history you can see that
very few coaches got a fourth year at the club. Even
the legendary Ernst Happel didn't make it that long here."
