have agreed to lend out defender Michael Lamey to Dutch FA Cup winners
Utrecht for next season. Utrecht
were hoping to sign Danish defender Brian Priske from AaB Aalborg, but
have now turned their attentions towards Lamey after Priske's transfer
failed to materialise. Utrecht see the 24-year-old defender as a perfect
alternative to Belgian international Stijn Vreven who has left the club to
join German Bundesliga outfit, Kaiserslautern. Lamey spent a
successful loan spell last season with AZ, who have stated that they are
very disappointed that they are not able to make use of his services next
term. |
