to sign for Portsmouth today |

newly promoted Portsmouth recently denied that they were interested in
Vitesse's Dejan Stefanovic, Pompey boss Harry Redknapp is convinced
that he will be able to conclude the deal today for the Vitesse Arnhem
defender after agreeing a €2.8
million Euros transfer sum. The 28-year-old player, who came bottom of
FootballNL's fairplay table after having accumulated 8 yellow and two red cards
this season, has agreed a three-year contract. Portsmouth
chairman Milan Mandaric said: "Dejan is so positive about Portsmouth.
I'm excited about players who are bursting with desire to play for
us." |
