Italian Seria A outfit Sampdoria are
believed to be eyeing up Feyenoord's Japanese wizard, Shinji Ono.
Sampdoria, who have finally managed to gain promotion after a four year stay
in the Seria B, are reported to be seeking a Japanese player to add to their
squad, probably for marketing reasons. Top of Sampdoria's shpooing list is
Japanse international Yanagisawa but if the club fail to land the striker
then Shinji is seen as an interesting alternative.
