Struggling Eredivisie side RBC are to
talks today with NEC Nijmegen captain Danny Hesp with a view to signing the
33-year-old defender for next season. RBC,
who have been in the market for a left-footed defender, is now on the top of
RBC's shopping list after attempts to sign NAC's Mark Schenning and RKC's
Virgilio Teixeira, failed.
Hesp,
began his career with Ajax before leaving to play for Heerenveen, TOP Oss, Roda
JC and AZ. Hesp has been playing for his current club NEC since 1997.
