Arthur Numan has confirmed that we will be leaving Ranger this Summer after failing to reach an agreement for a new contract extension.  Numan hasn't completely closed the books on a new Ranger deal and has stated that if Rangers come with a new improved offer then he is still willing to renegotiate. However the chance of that happening is very unlikely according to Numan's agent Joop Korevaar: "The difference between what we were asking and the offer was too big.
Numan has now also stated that he is not planning to return to the Dutch Ere Divisie which puts an end to all the speculations of him returning to PSV or a making the move to Feyenoord. Speaking in the Dutch daily newspaper the "Algemeen Dagbald" Numan said: "It doesn't work out when a player tries to re-build his career in the country he came from. I have looked at Jorg Albertz's return to Germany with Hamburg and learned a lesson from that move."
