Barcelona extension for Phillip Cocu |

Barcelona have informed Dutch
international midfielder Phillip Cocu that his contract will not be
renewed in the summer.
The surprise announcement could mean that Cocu will be returning to his
former club PSV who have the 33-year-old player on the top of summer spree
shopping list.
However although PSV Eindhoven remain favorites to sign Cocu, they could
well have to compete with Premier League sides Manchester City and
Newcastle United who are also chasing Cocu and who are planning to
talks with the midfielder in the coming weeks.
