Ex-Feyenoorder
Bert Konterman is currently holding talks with Glasgow Rangers about an
early release from his contract. Konterman, who has player 12 times for
the Dutch national team, has been unable to force his way into Rangers's
first team squad since his arrival 18 months ago and has only managed a
few sporadic appearances for the club. A
club spokesman said: "We have had positive discussions with Bert and
it looks like he will move on - but we have still to finalise all the
details."
Feyenoord, who are also looking for a central
defender, have already been linked with their former player. |
