Although
Juventus's Dutch international midfielder Edgar Davids has stated in the
Italian daily sports-newspaper 'Corriere dello Sport' that he was
prepared to accept a wage cut in order to be able to finish
off his career with the Italian giants; the possibility still exists
that he will not sign now that Manchester United have once again shown
their interest.
Manchester are reported to have offered Davids a lucrative contract and
are willing to match his current salary. United are hoping to present
three major signings this summer and have set their sights on Dutch
internationals Edgar Davids, Patrick Kluivert and Brazilian star
Ronaldhino. |
