no longer interested in Chivu |

Real Madrid have announced that they are no
longer interested Ajax skipper Cristian Chivu and have informed his agent
Ioan Becali that he does not fit into coach Vicente Del Bosque's plans for
next season. However this does not necessarily mean that Chivu will be
staying in Amsterdam. Chivu's
contract allows the central-defender to leave Ajax for a limited fee of
€15 million euros which has attracted the likes of Arsenal and
Barcelona. According to reports, Spanish soccer agent, Jose Maria
Minguella, has already been in contact with Chivu's own agent to discuss
the possibility of taking the 22-year-old to Camp Nou.
