Dutch
international Frank de Boer who has stated that he will only sign a new deal
with Barcelona after the club has announced who their trainer will be for
next season has now seen Premier League side Blackburn Rovers join the long
queue of clubs that would like to employ him for the rest of his
career. Rovers boss Graeme Souness has confirmed his interest in
Barcelona defender Frank de Boer saying: "I have been speaking to
people who represent Frank. Henning
is going back to Norway in the summer and Craig Short is 35. We
still have Nils Eric Johansson, Jay McEveley and Martin Taylor - but they
are all young men. I am looking for an experienced defender and Frank fits
the bill."
