Arthur Numan, who is contemplating hanging up his boots after refusing a
new reduced deal from Glasgow Rangers, could well make a return to PSV after
coach Guus Hiddink hinted that he will offer Numan the chance to return.
Hiddink is in need of a replacement for Danish veteran Jan Heitze, who will
be retiring at the end of this season and believes that Numan is the ideal
replacement. On PSV's we3bsite Hiddink said: "Arthur Numan is a fantastic professional player with a good
mentality. He's a player you can always count on."Last
month Numan stated in an interview in the Dutch daily newspaper 'Algemeen
Dagbald' that it
was a bad idea to re-build his career in the country he came from.
If Numan is prepared to come back on his decision remains to be seen.
