The
FIFA has finally given Ajax striker
Mido the the go ahead to move to Celta Vigo on a loan deal for the rest
of the season. Celta are allowed to make use of the calamity rule to
replace Argentinian defender Sebastian Mendez who is out of action for
the rest of the season with an injury "I am happy to be able to play for a club like Celta Vigo,"
Mido said. "This is much better than going home to train with the
national team."
Ajax themselves are certainly satisfied that they have managed to
offload the troublesome Egyptian star for a period and it also path's
the way for other Ajax talents.
