Feyenoord are considering Sir Bobby
Robson's Newcastle Untied's reduced offer for their Australian
international, Brett Emerton. Feyenoord refused a €11.2 million
Euros offer for the 24-year-old midfielder last summer but are now willing to
listen to Newcastle's €4.2 million Euros offer. With Emerton's
contract running out at the end of next season, the club know that he will
be able to leave for nothing next summer.
Emerton, has often vented his desire to play in the Premiership and would
welcome a move to Tyneside.
