join queue for Van Hooijdonk |

outfit Fenerbahce have joined the queue for Feyenoord's prolific Dutch
international striker Pierre van Hooijdonk. Fenerbahce's
German trainer Christoph Daum has already enquired by Van Hooijdonk's
agent Rob Jansen for Feyenoord's asking price. Van
Hooijdonk has often stated that his preference goes out to a two year
extension with the Rotterdammers but has of yet failed to reach an
agreement with the club who would like to see Van Hooijdonk accept a drop
in wages next year. Van
Hooijdonk, who has also attracted the attention of several Premier League
outfits and as well as Portugese and Spanish clubs, is currently on
holiday in Portugal, where he is being kept up to date with the offers. |
