Excelsior appoint new coach Van Stee

18 Jun 2003

Excelsior who are currently battling for Eredivisie survival in the end of season playoffs have informed their coach Adrie Koster that even if he keeps the club in the Eredivisie, he will still not be in charge of the club next season.
The club have also announced that they already have former AZ trainer Henk van Stee lined up to take over next term. Koster is currently in his sixth season at the club and although he gained promotion last year, with the club's short stay in the top flight and players becoming strained with his tactics, the club feel it is now time to bring in a fresh coach.
Van Stee will take charge of the club on July 1.
