PSV
go into tonight's match against Johan Neeskens's NEC seven points ahead
of Ajax and even though their recent performances have not been
impressive Hiddink's side should just have the edge to set fifth placed
NEC aside. The PSV coach has stated that he would like to see more
flair in PSV's coming matches as he believes the supporters deserve more
entertainment. "The points are very important, but we also must give our fans a
good evening with a lot of goals. We must play the same way as we did against Zwolle. You cannot
play the whole match at the same level but we must stay concentrated."
Korean star Young-Pyo Lee is set to continue at left-back after impressing in the
last four matches, forcing Jan Heintze out of the squad. Lee's
fellow compatriate, Ji-Sung Park is also expected to make his return
after recovering from an injury.
NEC are without striker Dennis de Nooijer who is still recovering
from a stomach operation so Zico Tumba will be their solitary central
striker . Johan Neeskens has stated that his side is not planning to
play suicidal football tonight so we will probably see a rather
defensive NEC. "I know how PSV play and I don't want to play suicidal
football in Eindhoven."
