confirm interest in De Boer |

Premier
League outfit Blackburn Rovers have confirmed their interest in Dutch
international skipper, Frank de Boer. In an interview on BBC Sport Online,
Birmingham boss Graham Souness said: Frank de Boer is one of several
players we are currently looking at and it is something we are weighing up
at the moment."
The record international declined Barcelona's offer for a one-year
contract extension after Barca's new chairman Joan Lapporta stated that
his services would only be required by the club if he was prepared to
accept a 66% wage cut. De Boer has often vented that he would like to play
in the Premier League. |
