offer €14 million
euros for Makaay |

Bayern Munich have stated that they are
prepared to offer €14 million Euros to Deportivo La Coruna for their
golden boot striker Roy Makaay. The Dutch international reserve
striker is Bayern's No1 priority target this summer, in
spite of his earlier remarks that he would prefer to move to the Premier
League as opposed to the German Bundes Liga. Bayern have stated that as
soon as the Spanish competitions has ended the club will recommence
negotiations. Bayern
vice-chairman, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge: "The negotiations are suspended.
We hope that after La Liga finishes in two weeks to continue them."
